(Quick) Team Update: Slight Delay With The 2nd Annual Oscine Awards [2020]

a PSA by the Azure-Winged Magpie (a.k.a. the Extinction Entity).

Hello everyone! A-W Magpie here just to make a small announcement. Hope you’re all fine and enjoying the weather. Hope it wasn’t any trouble getting here (traffic, am I right?!). I’m pretty sure the bubblies and the cheesy bites are keeping everyone happy. If you haven’t sampled any of our hors d’oeuvres, feel free to queue up to your nearest takeaway booth, or call over your nearest delivery service. Over the years, we’ve set up multiple services all around the world (while slowly taking over) to accommodate any hunger pains, so why don’t you give some of them a shot?

Given the occasion, I’d recommend some cheesy bites or some nice sashimi. And for you vegans out there, I’m sure we could put together something quick. If you’d like a menu for your mains later tonight, the Cap’n’s writing one up for awards weekend, so it’ll be available when the show begins!

I know everyone’s eager to find out who the big winners from 2019 are and everything, but it looks like a few of our committee members have been kidnapped by ninjas (or something)! So we’re unfortunately going to have to delay the show by a bit.

We’re doing our best to get the show running ASAP, so don’t you worry. Go have some nibbles and don’t get too drunk, cause the Oscine Awards Ceremony will be starting up in just a few hours!

See you soon!
